Kind Words

Sweet Pea and Ilo lead one of our guests around the lake

We received a wonderful email from the events director for the Girl Scouts we hosted last weekend and wanted to share.

"Linda - I cannot say Thank You enough to you, Neil, Haley, Chris and (Joel) for the amazing Dog Sledding event we had this weekend.

The classroom event on Saturday really was great to introduce girls to dog sledding and all that comes with it from, safety to cost to training and more. Everything on display was wonderful and I heard that girls enjoyed smelling the various dog food items. And of course, all the girls really loved being able to see the dogs and get a chance to pet them.

Yesterday was totally awesome! The girls learned so much and really got a wonderful life experience and learning lessons as well. For the girls to get 3 opportunities to drive a dog sled team was outstanding and they become more confident each time and realized that a different sled and different dogs can change how it feels. Truly, we can't thank you enough for all the hard work you all did for us to make this a "WOW" moment in the girls' lives.

Again, your generosity and patience in working with the girls and giving them this opportunity is so greatly appreciated. Thank you. I look forward to seeing you all again on Feb. 12th & 13th.

PLS Girl Scouts Event Coordinator"

Words such as this from past participants mean so much to us and we appreciate each and every experience we have with people interesting in learning about who we are and what we do with our sled dogs.
