This week the final touches were made to the Tipi. Rocks were hauled from Lake Superior to create the fire ring. Pine boughs were harvested from our dog sledding trail and a nearby power line clearing for the floor of the Tipi. Firewood was gathered and split. Last but not least, five straw bales were hauled to the site and placed in the structure for guest to use as seats.
Erik christened the Tipi last evening by building a fire and spending the night.
